Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to 2012’s Blade Runner, released a new trailer on 15 Oct and the
video is created from a series of 360-degree photos.
The premise of Blade Runner 2049 is simple: five
years after the events in Blade Runner, a new blade runner named K (Ryan Gosling) is
assigned to re-examine the LAPD’s discovery of androids that were manufactured by
former Blade Runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) and his
companion Gaff (Edward James Olmos). As the blade runner tries to track down Deckard’s
daughter, LAPD detective Wit (Robin Wright) and her partner
played by blade runner K's new partner. Told from the blade runner’s point of view, Blade
Runner 2049 takes place between the events of Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049.

The book is a short novelisation of the film Blade Runner, written as if the story was being told by a Blade Runner replicant. The story itself is in the form of a question and answer interview of a replicant named K to a human named J (the human being "J" is the person reading the book). J asks K for information about the nature of being human and K explains how it is to be human in the Blade Runner universe.
